LDAAT Delivery Unit
The Lancashire Drug & Alcohol Action Team Delivery Unit supports the LDAAT Partnership Structure and is responsible for facilitating the core business of the DAAT, which is to ensure effective substance misuse services are commissioned across the Lancashire footprint.
The team is managed by a Strategic Director and Head of Operations and Commissioning who are responsible for directing and operationally managing the delivery unit. Three Locality Commissioning Managers oversee the North, South and East localities and are responsible for commissioning substance misuse services, working towards the delivery of the standards contained in the National Drugs Strategy and other relevant planning guidance.
Two Young People's Substance Misuse Co-ordinators are responsible for coordinating developments for LDAAT in relation to the Young People's substance misuse agenda, including the development and implementation of young people's initiatives and action plans in line with the LDAAT Strategy and Treatment Plan.
The Communications and Policy Development Manager is responsible for promoting the role and image of LDAAT through an effective communications service, managing all aspects of comprehensive internal and external communication.
The Finance function comprises of a Finance Manager and Assistant Accountant, who provide a management accounting role to the partnership.
Each locality has a dedicated Shared Care Development Manager whose role is to liaise with GPs and Specialist Substance Misuse Services to ensure the effective service delivery of shared care to the residents of the locality.
The Data Manager is responsible for managing and developing the data management function of the DAAT, ensuring implementation, development and management of data and information systems to enable the partnership to use intelligence data within the commissioning process to inform decision making and utilise resources effectively.
The Support Services Manager manages the administrative support team comprising of five Support Officers. This team underpins the work of the delivery unit by providing a comprehensive administrative function, ensuring LDAAT meetings are arranged, co-ordinated and serviced effectively across the partnership.
There are two seconded posts within the delivery unit. A Criminal Justice Strategic Lead post seconded from Lancashire Constabulary, ensures the supply reduction and communities agenda is implemented effectively in conjunction with overseeing the criminal justice activity across the DAAT. The Tier 4 Lead post is responsible for co-ordinating tier 4 substance misuse services across Lancashire. This post is seconded from Lancashire County Council.
